Breast Augmentation in Morocco: Implants, Techniques & Cost

AR Dr Amine Rafik · Cosmetic surgeon Medically reviewed article

Breast augmentation is one of the most requested cosmetic procedures in the world. In Morocco, it is performed by European-trained surgeons using CE-certified implants from leading brands, in ISO-certified clinics — for an all-inclusive price from €3,300, around 60 to 70% less than in North America or Western Europe.

This guide covers implant types, techniques, how the procedure unfolds and what you can realistically expect.

Implants or fat transfer?

There are two main routes to increase breast volume:

  • Implants: the most common solution, giving a clear and lasting increase in volume.
  • Fat transfer (lipofilling): using your own fat for a moderate, very natural augmentation with no foreign body (ideal for a half to one cup-size gain).

At Bodycare Travel, implant augmentation starts at €3,300, and a breast lift with implants at €4,300. See the breast surgery page.

CriterionOptions
ShapeRound (fuller look) or anatomical (teardrop, natural)
FillCE-certified cohesive silicone gel
ProfileLow, moderate, high — depending on desired projection
Size150 to 800 cc depending on your build

The choice is made in consultation, based on your chest, your skin and the result you want.

Incisions and implant placement

The scar can be placed under the breast (inframammary, the most common), around the areola (periareolar) or in the armpit (transaxillary, with no scar on the breast). The implant sits under the muscle (more natural result), above it (faster recovery), or in a dual plane (a combination). Your surgeon recommends the best approach.

Procedure and recovery

  • Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours, under general anaesthesia.
  • Hospital stay: 1 night.
  • Stay in Morocco: 5 to 7 days.
  • Recovery: 7 to 10 days; a support bra is worn for several weeks.
  • Final result: at 3-6 months, once the implants settle and swelling subsides.

Safety and lifespan

We use only CE-certified implants from reputable brands. Their lifespan is 10 to 20 years: they are not guaranteed for life and may need replacing. Breastfeeding remains possible in most cases, especially with the inframammary route. Every surgery carries risks (capsular contracture, asymmetry, implant rotation), which are explained in consultation.

FAQ

What implant size should I choose?

The one that suits your body and your goals. The surgeon helps you visualise the result in consultation, for a harmonious, natural outcome.

Will I be able to breastfeed afterwards?

Yes, in most cases, especially with an inframammary incision that preserves the gland and ducts.

Are the scars visible?

They are discreet and placed in natural folds; they fade considerably over time with proper care.

How long should I stay in Morocco?

5 to 7 days, including one night in the clinic. The final consultation determines clearance for the return flight.

What if I want a very natural result?

Fat transfer or anatomical implants placed under the muscle give the most natural results. To be discussed based on your anatomy.
